JORD: wood watches

JORD has a watch for every personal style. I came across my wooden watch last month. It’s a beautifully crafted timepiece made from hard maple wood from Northeastern North America. This watch really has sentimental value to me. I grew up on a property with a 100-acre forest, comprised predominately of maple trees. Every year I always looked forward to walking through in March, when the maple trees would be tapped for syrup production. Even the smell of this watch reminds me of the holes drilled in the maple trees- such nostalgia! This particular piece is an automatic watch, with sapphire crystal glass and Swarovski crystal markers. It was custom-made so when it arrived it fit my wrist perfectly (see here).
