W Montreal Insider Collective: style meets luxury

I had the pleasure of joining some of Toronto’s top bloggers on an insider tour of Montreal. Technically, this was the first time that I had been to Montreal (unbelievable, I know)! I quickly fell in love. When the car door opened I was warmly greeted by one of the members of the hotel concierge, “Bonjour, and welcome to Montreal”! I knew that I was in good hands. The W Montreal perfectly reflects the unique culture within the city. Every element of the design has been carefully thought out to reveal the most appealing aspects of the history of the downtown area. I was able to experience the best of what Montreal has to offer. Here is my official W Montreal guide.

The hotel lobby is a popular place among guests; it boasts a relaxed and warm environment, perfect for slowly sipping cocktails or catching up on emails.

The guest rooms are bright and airy, with large windows showcasing the downtown core. No detail has been overlooked. This W was once a large bank tower, and elements of that history peer through in details such as the two-tone gold and black herringbone carpet, and the massive safe that still persists from centuries ago (you can ask to see it)!

In my opinion, the most important part of a hotel is the bathroom. The W has executed this area flawlessly!

Every room has a deep soaker tub and a massive rain shower, complete with a clean slate vanity stocked with Bliss products. Side note: ordering cheesecake pops was the best decision that I've ever made! Which brings me to the in-room dining and hotel restaurant: Ê.A.T, where modern metropolitan dining meets staple Quebec cuisine.

Another creative way that this hotel embraces the local culture is through art. Ê.A.T. encourages local artists to bring their vision of Montreal to life on the walls of the restaurant.

I had the most amazing steak, complete with fire-roasted garlic for dinner. The chef was incredibly accomodating, he prepared my meal according to my personal dietary needs.

YUM, Montreal's largest sundae mountain!

We also had an amazing VIP time at Montreal's largest winter electronic festival, Igloofest! Check out my full post here for tons of photos!

Finally, I had the most relaxing experience at AWAY Spa, without having to leave the hotel.

Thank you so very much to the kind staff at the W hotel, who made my experience absolutely amazing. If you're interested in seeing more activities from the Insider Collective tour, check out my full posts at the links below:
