Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara is here.

The hotly-anticipated mascara from Urban Decay is here, and it is wonderful. I like to test out every mascara that I possibly can, and I only ever post about my absolute favourites. I was super intrigued by the holographic packaging and the promise of exceptionally long lashes that can withstand swimming and saunas. Basically when looking for a mascara I have two criteria...

Firstly, it cannot transfer or smear. By this I mean the mascara has to stay put, and not streak the eyelid or under-eye area. There is nothing worse than mascara that streaks your eyelid. This mascara does not do that in any way, shape, or form. It stays put for hours. I put it to the test by applying concealer to my eyelids and not setting it with a powder (yikes, I know). I swiped the new mascara across my top and bottom lashes and went about my day, which happened to include yoga. Usually after a few hours I'd have unsightly little lines from where my lashes hit against my brow bone but this time there was NONE.

Secondly, this seems obvious but a good mascara to make my lashes look longer. Guess what? It does! Troublemaker Mascara delivers 13.7x the lash volume, and sexy, fluttery, intensely black lashes. Not only does it comb and separate lashes to make them look longer but it also works to make it look like you have more of them! Tiny precision hooks grab lashes to pull the product through so even the tiniest lashes are coated and amplified (think inner corners).

Troublemaker has exceeded my standards for the perfect mascara!
