LUSH Halloween Collection
I am quite proud to confirm that I have a huge audience of LUSH lovers among me, which makes me feel perfectly at home when it comes to the anticipation of new releases. I had the most overwhelming response of all time to my previous LUSH post (see here). After this post, I got asked about a million and one questions about the Halloween collection for 2017, many people begging for any type of insight. I am pleased to announce that it is available in stores and online, and I've tested it out and it is BEYOND PERFECT. Fall/Halloween season is the best (am I right or is it Christmas!?). Either way, I HAVE ANSWERS. Here are my thoughts on the products I've tried so far!
Pumpkin:
This classic pumpkin fizzer bath bomb is back! It features a spicy-sweet pumpkin pie perfume full of exotic pimento, sweet vanilla and cozy, warming cinnamon.
Bewitched:
The cutest black cat around! Crumble this bubble bar under the tap for berry-scented bubbles and dark, mysterious waters!
Goth Fairy Shimmer Bar:
This brand new shimmer bar glides beautifully iridescent sparkles across your skin. Hydrating illipe and cupuaçu butters soften your skin, while a fruity perfume of bergamot and grapefruit oils lifts your spirits.
Pink Pumpkin:
A beautiful and sparkly bubble bar, with geranium, bergamot and jasmine- all of which makes for a swirling plastic-free pink shimmer bath with heaps of fluffy foam.
Sparkly Pumpkin:
This classic Halloween bubble bar is packed full of sparkle and citrus, and garnished with a cinnamon-stick stem. The energizing blend of juniper berry, lime and grapefruit oils make it perfect for a long, lingering soak that'll leave skin kissed with softness and a light sparkle.
Monsters' Ball:
Monsters' Ball is my favourite bath bomb from the Halloween collection! Its absolutely magnificent, with swirls of pink froth atop of deep blue-purple waters, its fruity lime and neroli perfume fills the air.
Lord of Misrule:
This bath bomb has a spicy herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil, rich and dark which I absolutely LOVE (my favourite type of scent after citrus)! According to LUSH website, its, "Inspired by the ruler of the pagan Feast of Fools, Lord Of Misrule has a deep green exterior that slowly froths away to reveal a rich wine-colored center. Just like at the Feast of Fools, when the wine starts to flow, the popping candy crackles and the festivities begin." Cool right?!
Lord of Misrule:
This is the ultra-luxe shower cream in the same earthy scent (one I've been using for years now)! Its full of moisturizing glycerin and wheat germ oil, and lathers marvellously on the skin.
Black Rose Lip Polish:
New product alert! This lip scrub arrived at a perfect time, with fall weather comes chapped lips, so getting a head-start before winter is critical. Smooth this bar over your lips to scrub away dry skin. With spearmint and mandarin it smells (and tastes) divine!
Black Rose:
Smooth this sultry rose over your lips for lasting hydration and a gentle stain. This naked lip tint's sensuous, softening texture comes from Kalahari melon oil and jojoba oil.
Hedgewitch Soap:
I love seeing all of the beautiful soap creations that LUSH unveils. The more colourful the better in my opinion! It does happen to be limited edition, so get your hands on some before it disappears (mwahaha). It features skin-conditioning fair trade cocoa butter and juicy blackberries, leaving you clean, energized and uplifted.
