BIOLAGE R.A.W. Collection
This week I attended an incredible event: Matrix Biolage R.A.W Night In at Calia Hair salon! I was so excited when I saw the invite come through, aura readings, a terrarium workshop, and of course- hair time with the Matrix stylists. I got to bring my bff Jessica, and we learned all about the new Biologe R.A.W products. R.A.W stands for Real, Authentic, Wholesome- the premise and foundation of this collection. 70-100% natural-origin haircare of true salon quality, at an affordable price point.
We focused on styling, and creating gorgeous waves using the Matrix R.A.W styling range. I've included some of the products that my stylist used on my hair, and a little info on why they are so amazing!!
Bodifying Styling Jelly
Infused with lemon, this bodifying styling jelly has a creamy gel texture that spreads easily for application and fullness. For natural looking body and soft lift to the hair.
To use: On damp hair, begin with a small amount and apply more if needed. Work into roots and through the ends. Blow-dry and style as usual.
The lemon in this product makes me look forward to applying this before going about my styling routine, so invigorating!
Smoothing Styling Milk
Infused with honey and oat, this smoothing styling milk eases the grip of blow dry while enhancing hair with nourished style. For polished locks and smooth hair.
To use: Shake before use. Work a small amount in hands and apply throughout damp hair. Spread evenly. Blow-dry as desired.
This product is absolutely amazing, it guarantees 5 times smoother hair (without leaving the hair feeling coated)!
Curl Defining Styling Butter
Infused with cacao, this nourishing styling butter defines for tamed and naturally finished curls. For a touchable twist and twirl for your curls.
To use: On damp hair, begin with a small amount and apply more if needed. Let air-dry or use a diffuser. Tousle at roots and throughout to boost volume and loosen up the curl.
This product smells absolutely incredible- and works wonders on curls (48-hour curl definition, sans crunch). I don't have a lot of natural curl but this product really helps to lock and define the waves that I do have!
Frizz Control Styling Spray
Infused with lavender, this frizz control styling spray helps to smooth down flyaways with light shaping for a natural sheen and controlled finish.
To use: Shake before use. On damp hair, spray evenly. Comb through evenly and blow-dry. Use on dry hair for quick reshaping. Apply liberally and style as desired.
I love this anti-frizz spray, it's by far one of the best that I've used! A few spritzes and you're frizz-free for 24 full hours.
Texturizing Styling Spray
Infused with matcha green tea, this texturizing styling spray gives separation and definition for touchable texture. For loose beach waves with soft feeling and movement.
To use: Shake before use. On damp hair, spray evenly. Tousle and let air-dry or use a diffuser. For added texture, spray on dry hair. Style as desired.
This is a really unique product that adds so much dimension and volume to the hair.
